I was at an agility seminar in August 2002 with my Border Collie, Yankee.  We just weren't "getting it" as a team, and I was frustrated with Yankee's level of inattention and distraction.  That evening at home, amidst the frustration it was as if a thought was placed into my mind by God Himself:  "You know, sometimes you relate to Me just like your dog is relating to you!"  Oh, my, that cut to the quick!  About two weeks later, I awoke in the middle of the night and transcribed on one piece of paper the entire outline of a book.  That book, God//Dog Parables, was published late in 2003.
