At 8 weeks Annie Yang chose the Purple girl, and she is now living in Ohio with Annie and her husband, Frank.  Plans are for her to compete in agility and herding.  Her call name is "Raven," a great name for her!  Her registered name is Winthrop That's So Raven.  Annie sends pictures and reports to me regularly about Raven's activities!

At 6 months, Annie says, "She is doing very well (in her agility training), has her contacts down and loves to work.  We took a quick x-ray of her hips,( I know it's very early) and they look wonderful.  Growth plates of course are still way open.  She is 31 lbs and 19".

Raven at 1 year old:

She is 39 lb. and around 20 ".

She still is a big talker... I think she is much the
same as her descriptions when she was a puppy.

When she has her mind set, hard to change. She seems to have trust
issues with being handled and groomed that I work on always, if she
thinks you're going for a brush or nail trimmer( we use the dremmel) she
is history!!!

I like best her temperament with people and other dogs.
Over all, I love her and feel we are developing a nice working
relationship.

She is really smart and recently when a friend stayed with us for the
weekend while she was picking up her new puppy, we could not keep Raven
out of the puppy's stuff. There were 2 small toys in particular she
wanted and even though my friend kept all the new toys in her bags, when
she went to leave we could not find this one, new, yellow rubber ball,
we searched under and on everything. Well 2 days later (after she was
long gone) it appeared on Ravens bed. She stole it out of the bag when
no one was looking and kept it hidden for a while. I guess that is her
funny story. I took a picture of it and sent it to my friend, we got a
laugh out of that! Another example about her strong mind set when she
gets it made up....

February 2009--

Raven was spayed late Spring, anticipates her debut in agility trialing mid-summer!

June 6 & 7, 2009

Finally got started on her agility career. We ran in USDAA today and yesterday, only entered her in 4 runs, wish I had entered her in more, she did so well.  Two really nice jumpers runs with Q's, a Q in pairs with Frank and Force, and a Q in snooker, my least favorite class.  She was barking quite a bit for that run.

July 2009  First 2 AKC agility legs, 1 NA and 1 NAJ!

November 2009  Annie reports Rave is excelling in agility, and is training in herding, too, with the "wild" sheep on their farm! She says, "If nothing else, we will be noticed because she is LOUD!" (Margie: She was always the loudest puppy in the litter...)
