Winthrop Sage OA OAJ OF

Feb 26, 2012 Sage and Kathy finished his AKC Open Jumpers Agility title, winning the class!

Sage has been a very good puppy. I’ve only had to get up with him one time through the night to go potty. He loves to play, but also loves to have his belly rubbed. Ned (son Andrew's 21 month old BC) has been a very good big brother, always keeping track of where Sage is in the house or in the back yard. I am looking forward to training the BCs in agility and possibly obedience and/or rally, and some herding as time permits. Here's Sage at 9 weeks:

June 25, 2010--3 months old I took Sage in for his next set of puppy vaccines last Friday (6/25). He weighed 15 lbs. He is doing great! We have started attending a weekly class for performance puppies, mostly for agility. I have been teaching Sage some tricks (with the clicker) like sit, down, wait, beg, stand on back legs, touch my hand, roll over, balancing on the BOSU ball (the round, soft side and the flat, hard side), and currently working on 2-On-2-Off on the bottom of my dogwalk. I am also paying close attention to the reaction that I get when I call him. So far, so good. Well, at least most of the time. :) He is such a sweetie!

July 23, 2010--4 months old! He is such a gorgeous boy, and brains as well as beauty!

Sept 18, 2011--17 months Sage qualifies 3/3 in AKC Novice Agility with 3rd, 2nd, and 1st placements for his NA title at his very first trial! And he also picked up his first NAJ leg.

Oct 2011--NAJ Kathy and Sage finish his AKC novice agility titles and start on Open! They are obviously having a grand time doing agility!

Dec 31, 2011--OA What a way to end the year! Sage finished his Open Agility title and won the class!
