Sires and Foundation Dogs

Blazin' Bryce Bryce is the sire of the Myrrh-Bryce litter born March 23, 2010. Bryce is successfully competing in USBCHA Nursery classes (dogs eligible until they are 3 years old), showing a lot of herding talent. He has qualified for the National Finals in Nursery! He has a wonderful dispostion and sound structure. I am really looking forward to seeing how this litter develops, and plan to keep one or two myself!

Bryce's sire is Blazin' Dustin, he is a smooth tri bred by Terry Parrish, who I train with for herding. She is a long-time USBCHA handler, trialed extensively with Bryce's grandparents Rhys and Sis. Rhys is a grandson of Glyn Jones' Bwlch Taff, Welsh National Champion '80 and '81; Rhys' mother was an imported bitch line bred on International Supreme Champion Craig. Sis is a daughter of Ralph Pulfer's imported Dan (USBCHA National Champion 1988) from Johnny Wilson's stock. Terry never really had Bryce's father Blazin' Dustin out trialing, but has worked him hard all his life on both cattle and sheep, says he is the bravest, most honest dog she's ever had, would do anything she asked him to. Amelia Smith, another handler/trainer here in So Calif. has a full brother to Dustin named Price from another Rhys-Sis litter--she made her reputation as a national level USBCHA handler trialing with Price.

Bryce's mother Meg is an imported bitch, sired by Johnny Wilson's Scottish Nat'l Champion ('96 and '98) Rob; he was 3rd in the '96 and '98 International Supreme Championships. Rob was sired by Johnny Wilson's Int Sup CH Spot ('91 and '94) out of a daughter of Bobby Dalziel's Int Sup CH Wisp. Meg's dam Kim was bred by Aled Owen from Wales by his 2000 Int. Supreme Champion and 2000 World Sheepdog Trials Champion Llangwm Bob out of a daughter of Blwch Hemp, who won the International Farmers Championship in 1968.

The Dustin/Meg litter of 4 pups (including Bryce) was 2 yo Feb 23, 2010. Already, the 3 boys have each won a USBCHA Nursery class (and Nursery courses are only slightly less in distances than the top level Open courses, but with no shed.) Bryce's brother Beau has qualified for Nursery Finals next Fall, won multiple HIT's and earned High Combined, winning on sheep, cattle and ducks in January 2010 at an ASCA trial. Terry has only showed Bryce in 2 USBCHA trials, where he was 1st and 2nd in the 2 classes. And I really like their sister Brenna as well; she has not had as much training and has never trialed as yet.

HC HTCH JusDandy Jaydee Claudia Frank's HC JusDandyJaydee is the sire of the Jaydee-Myrrh litter of 8 pups born June 11, 2007. A son from his first litter, Robin Ford's Rival, is winning in Excellent B agility classes and rapidly closing in on his MACH agility championship.  A daughter out of Liza, Karen Herceg's "Goody" has won her AKC Championship in conformation from the puppy classes.  His other young sons and daughters are making excellent progress in training for agility, herding and obedience, according to their proud owners!

Imp.
