Winthrop Lickety Split NADAC Novice Versatility with Superior titles in all 7 Novice classes, Outstanding titles in Open classes (OAC, OCC, TG, WV, TN, HP) "Split"
At 7 weeks old the Green girl flew away to Calgary, Canada with her new owner, Carol Bevan, and never whined or cried or went potty in her carry-on bag! However, there were "mini-floods" in ladies' rooms in several airports... Her name is Winthrop Lickety Split, call name "Split." Split will be learning agility, NADAC-style and maybe some flyball.

Split at 4 months old; she's learning NADAC agility
At 6 months old Split, continues to train with Carol Bevan in agility in Canada. Carol writes: She has had a bit of a set back. Being the little piggy that she is, She had to have surgery to remove something that was lodged in her intestine, so at the same time, I had her spayed. She eats absolutely every thing. She still is a very sweet little girl, but very much of a brat. I wanted a dog that was very quiet, and she is that, but on the other hand, look out. She picks non stop on Quic, and other than being quiet,( which Quic is not,) they are much the same. She tends to be very reckless, and doesn't care about her body. Just go for it, and every thing must move, out of the way, one way or another. Her drive for agility is not that great, she would rather be eating stuff off the ground or trying to dominate other dogs. A lot of her traits are what I did not want again in another dog (her dog Quic being very pushy), but having said that, I love her to death, and we will work thru it.

Just want to let you know that Split is doing very well at her agility. We go to a class once a week, and she is doing awesome. I am thinking that her first trial will probably be next January. She is about 19-19.5" tall.
Carol and Split at their 1st NADAC trial, January 2009
earned 2 Q's!
June 2009, 2 years old!
July 2009 Split now has Q's in all of the NADAC novice classes!

December 2009 I continue to hear very good reports about Split and her NADAC agility career--she only needs one Weavers leg to complete her Novice Versatility award!
March 2010 Carol, her husband Reg, Split and their other 6 dogs came to San Diego for a visit! Split had her first look at sheep, and passed her herding instinct test with flying colors!
